looking for these guys... anyone has them?
ideally looking for a proven pair but of course whatever is out there i will consider.
prefer local to LA/OC/SD if possible but will consider shipping fish in if that's an option.

What youre looking for is in all Carpintes. If you see differences in others pictures or vids is because of different camera, fhousing, and lighting.

If you want to deepen the blue or get purple tint on a carpinte or any other blue shiny fish, just use PINK aquarium lighting. Yep.

But Carpintes colors can range from powder blue to turquois to blue all in one fish. With pink lighting, u see it become more exotic. (think red x blue = purple)

I have a couple there all over here I can't find the original small spot texas

Hericthys Cyannogutatus is what they are called. COA got them

Nah dont accuse the person of anything bad. It's not their fault if that's what their tank, light, and camera give them.
