Transhipping

With "regular" fish, I would be worried about anything that wasn't overnight or similar. I am assuming that by transhipping you mean it will make some stops along the way. Bettas are hardy fish that can live in some pretty bad conditions for a while (like cups at petsmart :( ,) so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Exactly what i was thinking. But, how much will it add to the cost?

It depends on the carrier and who is shipping it to you honestly. I know that overnight for fish is usually pretty pricey, but I can't speak for transhipping.

I am a betta breeder myself. And it can be worth the risk for shipping as it is hard to get quality bettas. They will get stressed over the shipping but should be fine aslong as the owners wraps them correctly. Make sure there is a DOA refund or else it is a waste

It usually adds $15-$40 on to the price depending in what service you use
