I have a problem with my 40G. It's high lighting and well filtered as well as being densely planted, however currently there is only liquid carbon. My main problem is my HC Cuba which is slowly dying. Should I run compressed co2 along with easy carbo, any help would be greatly appreciated.

For baby tears / HC having pressurized Co2 is a must if you want it to grow properly... And if you have pressurized Co2, you dont need to add the liquid form any more

Some people have been able to do HC with just liquid CO2, but I find that once my CO2 cartridges ran out, it just slowly died off even when I was using liquid CO2.

This... hc really really really and did I mention Really needs pressurized co2 to grow correctly. You don't have to use the liquid supplement but it won't hurt if you do. It may be beneficial for keeping algae at bay a little better.

always go pressurized if you want thick plant density. You'll never look back. Good luck!
