lol cheers ger hes realy nice in the flesh hes quite bright loadsa sparkes and gold ish colour on his gil plate and bottom fin getting bolder all the time too slowy turning in to a lil monster ;)
 
Yeah deffo looks like a little monster what size 6" you said??and was reading a thread there on black water extract do you use it??

yeah just needs the lil monster attitude now lol hes around 5-6 inches
no not used it yet i was just reading it too im thinking about it as our water is hard ph is up there 7.8 ish wich is why ive always kept c/a cichlids or malawis i dont like to mess with chem in the tank with ph up/down ect, but it seems easy enough to use black water extract from whats been said and i know the guy in the lfs uses it for his discus good guys in my lfs i often pop in for coffee n a chat
 
Yeah im going to upgrade tank asap I'd rather move him around now while he is small because he is so active I can wave my hand around and he'll come over but get too close and hes gone lol and yeah going to ask my lfs hes cool dude has rbp tank with nearly 50 in it mostly big ones!got my rtc and first schoal of rbp's off him 2!going to check it out a bit more first before I try it .. some other ways to do it too
