Caught more big bass on that reel than any i've ever owned and it never disappoints... rod is fairly new only caught a few little guys but it has a bright future and has more sensitivity than any rod i've ever owned. I can feel every movement of my bait.

There are lots of good combos in this thread but I have the same reel and it is fantastic...comparable to even the top of the line shimanos imo. As for my personal favorite, it would have to be my phenix iron feather rod with shimano ci4 1000...it is an ultralight by all standards but I can practically drag my mini jig over a quarter underwater and tell you if it is heads or tails, it is that sensitive. http://www.phenixrods.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=12
