Thanks for the pictures Brian. Looks plenty bright enough. Are you happy with the remote and is it as easy to adjust colors as the website says? Does it really make much difference when you adjust the colors? And there's no mention of it having a timer?
There is no integrated timer but I was already using one before I bought the fixture so it wasn't a big deal for me. I do not use the remote much due to the timer, the first couple of days I switched between the preset colors and left it on the full spectrum because it looks best to me. Im not sure on range, it has a wired sensor which i havent placed in the most ideal place for where i sit but if i stand by the tank it is fine. If I had different stock, scape, bg I can see where different modes would make sense. I can start with a preset and add or subtract colors and save it, I will experiment with this feature at some point but haven't done so as of yet.
It's a grow out for bass, eartheaters, and dats. Will have Kels, Azuls for P-Bass and Balzani's for Geos to start. It's going in my sons room so if its more colorful than "natural" I'm not too concerned.
Is that a guinacara in your tank? Also wat is te one in the middle in the first pic? Cant wait to get the satellite plus!
