I just read this whole thread from beggining to end. I have learned three things from all of this (in between my giggles of course).

1. Hillbillies are Awesome!
2. There is not a need for terracotta.

And finally....

3. Your fish look great!

I should have stopped reading after post 11 but I couldn't help myself. It was like watching a train wreck, I just couldn't turn away!

I think I remember reading that you said you were an engineer or EIT, so I believe you are intelligent, but seriously 4D3 you come across as very arrogant in your posts and a little humility would do you good. Instead of arguing with everyone that has a difference of opinion or experience and calling them hillbillies, maybe listen to their advice? Terracotta pots will establish denitrifying bacteria? Come on. You have a scientific mind and should know better than to proclaim that as truth based on your very unscientific study and findings. Spreading misinformation like that is no good for anyone in the hobby.
 
cool tank beautiful they look happy peaceful decisions on fish not overstocked at all. jus clean occasionally my tank is high school lunch then the pep rally than the slumber party. but at the end of the day family

I'm not sure what your meaning with lunch and pep rally, but thanks, they are happy.

I have another 2260 arriving this week with 10l of marine pure spheres so hopefully I will have super duper water quality

And you should answer questions completely.....

I might seem pointed when it comes to my responses, but you are the guy who on many occasions comes in, seemingly with an answer, then never replies to the critical questions.

Many times now you have popped into one of my threads when I have had a genuine question given a half answer and disappeared.

Or is that your specialty?a half job?

LOL! Not sure what that shot was referring to but whatever. I've more that tried to help you out with your many questions that I've read, but now I'm done. You're just proving my point about you completely lacking humility. Instead of appreciating that I've tried to help you out by taking MY time to answer your questions, more than once, you're now crying like a toddler who needs attention because I might have missed one? Or according to your post, more than once? Boo freakin' hoo! I dont owe you anything bud, nor does anyone else here.

Good luck with your tank, sounds like you're gonna need it!
