I went into the city to the lfs to buy a replacement air pump and low and behold I seen this little guy in a tank. I believe this was the first "goonch" for this store and I have been going their for over 20yrs. I couldn't resist as I can grow out this goonch with the mahseers. Maybe even put him with the rays someday! Funny how the supply and demand works as goonch are showing up everywhere now that people are buying them!


 
Thanks, it's already eating pieces of smelt stuffed with a massivore pellet. I imagine it won't take long for this guy to grow if he is eating like that already.

Congrats on the monster.

These can attain massive sizes 6-8ft long. And have crazy teeth
