TSN or RTC×TSN?

Picked this guy up today, I have had a couple TSN'S in the past and loved them but none have had spots like this one, they all had stripes. Are there different variations of TSN or is this one a hybrid with a red tail cat?

P.s. sorry about poor pictures, I'll try to get better ones after he's settled in

That's a hybrid between Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum (the most common TSN species) as the mother and Leiarius, most likely marmoratus, as the father. Made for food in SA.
