and got me wondering what peoples most expensive feeder was.

I bought a red tail Catfish a few years back.
In a matter of a month or 2 he grew large enouph
that he eat A black belt, a female festea a medium sized
Managuense and various other aggresive cichlids. I lost
about $150 to $200 worth and finally gave him away.
That was in a 240 gallon.

did he actually got that thing in his stomach???

that sux.

yes its a distichodus, but its a lussosso.
when i came home, the dat had let him go, I dont know how he thought he was gonna down him . talk about biting off more than you can chew. ditichodus is now in my q tank.

One of my mbus decided a new $350 leichardi aro would make a nice between-meal snack. And, I used to have a 14" blue formosus that mostly swallowed and choked on a 10" jardini. Both aros died ($780 down the drain).

Atleast the guy didn't choke to death, I've seen that many times. I've even seen Norther Pikes die on shore with a sunfish that was too big to swallow in his mouth when fishing :WHOA:

I wonder what goes through these fishes mind about food??? :screwy:
