What the most unexpected tank mate you've ever seen?

Just curious, I know some of you guys have been keeping fish for years and years....

Whats the most crazy "tank mate" you've ever seen, I mean in terms of fish kept in the same tank that completely broke the rules of "what works" and what can/can't live together without causing mayhem etc...

For example a Rhom and a goldfish (hehe)
 
Dovii and a Salvini! LOL! HeHeHe.
 
green terrors,plecos,channel cats,convicts,1 oscar,black cat,bumble bee cat,gar,and rtc, all live together
 
oscar and ghost shrimp, kept them together for 5 months before I removed the ghost shrimp. It lived another year in his own personal 1 gallon planted tank
 
I would def. have to say feeders that become BEST FRIENDS w/ the fish that are supposed to eat them. They live in the tank for years and get big, never get eaten, and just swim around freely....LOL...
 
An Angel and 4 cories with 2 nics, 2 dempseys, 3 firemouths, 2 jags, 3 convicts, a black belt, and striped raphael catfish. It was really interesting as my angel was actually the dominant one in the tank.
 
Well a while back I had arrowana,A Albine Oscar,A BlackOscar, And 4 Jack Dempseys all together and they never fought but the all died when for some reason water ph spiked
 
Customer with a 30" RTC and a bunch of big Oranda goldfish...apparently the cat ignores them as it's used to eating frozen trout...
