:(

Just noticed some white that wasn't there previously. Just moved him from one tank to the next which had nothing but the same water he was just in.

Argggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... this is upsetting. Started on the regiment.

I hope everything turns out well.. sometimes stress brings out the ICK..did you add anyone new to the tank?

All my fish in this particular tank are all new or rather recent.... So it's kind of hard to point at one particular fish. Unless he got stressed from the moving from one tank to the next. I was careful not to have too different of temperatures in all my tanks so every tank is kept at 78*.

Grr........

Grr........

so you raised temp up and added aquarium salt? you will have to do both tanks most likely..because just because you do not see it does not mean it isn't there.. so watch all fish carefully ...... you will get through this hopefully because you caught it right away...my best to you..

I did the salt and raised to 82* so let's see what happens within the next few days. Ich should be off him within another 2 days or so... treatment continues.

Sorry don't have a camera with zoom good enough to capture ich on him.

Then he is still doing okay so that is good news..

Still alive... doesn't look like it's spreading to the other fish in the tank. Has a couple more spots but that is to be expected. He's not lethargic, and still has an appetite so things right now look good. Temp up to 83* so I become more and more patient.

sounds like it will make it. I haven't lost a fish to ich in a long time, but I actually have a couple right now with it.

I hate ICK because of the long drawn out process and so many cycles the ick lives through.. you really have to make sure it is gone.. water changes help too..
