After losing my 2.5" Tem and a few 1-1.5" Ocels, I wasn't sure if I was going to try again, but the bug got the best of me and now I'm back at it. According to the LFS, the new ones I got are (2) farmie Ocellaris a little under 3 inches and a wild Orino a little over 3 inches. I didn't want to stress them too much, so I left the lights off and just snapped a few quick pix. Without further ado (sp.?), here they are...

Welcome back to the game!

Welcome back to the game, just bump the temp between 87-90 and increase oxygen, and if they dont take pellets feed live or whatever food they do take and then you can worry about pellets later on.. Do this and youll be fine this time round..:D

thanks, guys. according to the store, they were eating frozen bloodworms. I'll probably feed some of that along with feeders. I'll try pellets, too but I'm not getting my hopes too high at this size.

I have the temp at 87+ right now and they're back in the 40. It has plenty of oxygen with an AC70 and Penguin 350, but I'll put an airstone in there, too.

thx again. I am so excited right now. If I lose more than 1 ocel, I will be heartbroken.

Ya, at one time (until I bought the O and someone else bought the larger mono), Andy had a tem, wc orino, wc mono and a couple ocels. Nothing rare, but all the most common ones. I think he is really doing a good thing here. The store probably won't ever be as good as Mike's, but it's getting better and better. It's just too bad (or good in my case, lol) that they're so far from me. I just hope they actually are what they're supposed to be. He also said he was going to treat all his polys for parasites when he gets them in, so that's good. I really hate losing polys to parasites since they were my first fish genera addiction.

/end rant
