Thats Crazy, their eating 8 inch plecos wow, that must hurt coming out. My guess would be either the Wyckii or the granulosis. I just cant belive it 8 inch...wow

hmmm personaly i think it would have to be one of those catfish either Pterodorus granulosis or Hemibagrus wyckii because i cant see a top dwelling fish like a arowana or gar taking the time to catch a pleco in a 15k tank the catfish however would be running into them quite often so if they ever happen to run into one and they're feeling peckish..... well you know what would happen

on a side note though Arapaimag your title instead of cobra snakehead should definatly be "Move over JohnPTC" LMAO

yea i agree with the above post has to be the catfish btw NICE tank

Erm,any of them or all of them?
I used to have a 12" gibbiceps in with my rtg and they were always fighting until i found the pleco dead so could be one of the aros.

Steve

Why would you even have any fish under 8" in that tank?

how are you finding the pleco's? actually dead or just missing?

if you are just finding them dead, it may be that no one is eating them, but they may be starving to death in a tank with aggressive eaters such as yours.

I have had tanks in the past where pleco's did not do well because there was not enough algae to sustain them and all the food would be gone in 30 seconds...so that tank did not have an algae eater of any kind..
