I was recently explaining to a new ray owner about the changes that rays undergo in pattern formation and coloration as they grow towards maturity. I sent him an email of a before and after shot of my hybrid or "cross" ray which brought me to this thread.

Lets see how dramatic or non dramatic changes occurred in your hybrid/cross rays from pups to adults or sub-adults. If you all can post 2 "Before" shots, and 2 "After" shots, that would be really cool and we can keep this thread succinct! I'll start us off;)

This was about a year, year and a half ago (give or take a few months)

here are my 2 hybrids..

sorry about the order of the pictures, don't know what heppened

2nd picture is supposed mantilla x marble from H20 right after arrival at 5".
3rd picture is at 7-8" from h20

next

4th picture is hybrid picked up in LFS at 5" bery unhealthy and looked real bad.
5th picture is at 7" and looking much better from lfs
1st picture is hybrid now at 10.5" lfs

6th picture are both rays currently

Is a Marble Motoro x Regular Motoro considered hybrid?
 
Mother Marble, Father Reg Motoro. Nothing special but she was my first ray and my
wifes favorite, so she won't be going anywhere.
