Even though my aro is only a green I think that it has a really good shine to it.

like the pix..see no especial "shine", however. could we see it with more light?
 
Lol, lovely fish! and what ever do u mean only a green? compare a green with any grade 2 red, and really which is the better fish both for shape and shine... personally greens are up their among my favorite Asain's and rarely are u disappointed when u see a green. i mean there are very few ugly greens they are always lovely looking fish!
 
my green had a green-purple shine which was so vivid when it was younger. there were hints of golden-brown too. but it will disappear as it gets old. still has some hints of light purple though....
