I went to alligator alley yesterday from about 1-4. Drove 70 miles round trip to catch 0 fish... I only saw 1 gator too. He was about 7', so I was happy to see a alligator.

What's even worse then that, was the ammount of dead fish I saw! Literally more dead than alive. Jags, Myanas, cats, O's and Gars. All dead. I was sad to see this. I just thought I should share so you don't go to Alligator Alley when it's cold. :)

On monday the lake here at my work .. 75-griffin rd davie florida .. was atleast 30 dead tilapia and mayans .. none under 6 inches... when the water warms I hate to see whats coming up fromthe bottom if the scavengers dont get them first...

You are in what was once known as Salvini Country .. Dont know what the cold did to that population. Was at Big Al's and they had a bunch of them in the tanks. LIke someoen caught a whole bunch and trade them in. Looking at the rest of the tanks the fish looked sick ..

Yikes. I havn't got a fish from there in a while. When I get my new tanks, I'll head over there. Nothing good?

Nothing looked good ... lets put it that way. I wanted some africans but declined because alot of the tanks had fish looking sluggish to dead ..

Yes death to the nonnatives
Let them perish
Adapt or die
Natives win

Now you know that ain't right!!

On the topic tho. I've read that the cold spell has caused major problems with the fish population and are countries crops.

why would native wins?

Natives arent use to the cold weather.

So really both non-natives and natives have suffered
