Paroons...??? What are these?

Not IDs...mouth and belly too big...i think....I was told they were paroons...but not sure? Any thoughts...

Belly too big to be ID's lol?....They may not be irridecsents but they are not paroons either.The dorsal and tail pretty much disqualify them as paroons.

Not paroons, I had iridescent sharks that overstuffed their bellies like these.

That lone fish at the other end of the tank looks like it ate one of the others.

LOL, ok Krich, that's strike 2 for me...DAMN!!!
I now have 2 ID sharks that I don't want and have to foster, lol. AYYYYYYYYYYY

Those are IDS for sure, agreed.

As for paroons, IIRC, they have no stripes ever, at any age.

I'm having second thoughts. They really don't look like ids in person...especially when they have ids in another tank and they have different eyes and mouth. Maybe Pangasianodon gigas or some hybrid....it's Los Angeles...we get some random fish

To me, these look like healthy IDs that haven't been stunted. Most young IDs that we see are already severely stunted and have the big eyes and small mouth. I suspect that these simply haven't been stunted and starved for a year like most we see.
