500 Gallon Update

After the MBU is gone on Friday, I will be moving some of the smaller and calmer cichlids to the 265 such as JD, Texas, new Syn, few Eclipse Cats, Grammode, Tire Track and Green Terror. May also separate the 5 pairs on fish which are RTG, Fenestratus and Zonatus, Red Devil and Barred Midas and Oscar's and I think a Red Isleta and unknown Amph. Will also move the pair of Trimac's, one in each tank and will move the Choco's to the 265 together, and the pair of Pink Convicts to the 265. That should fill the 265 up nicely and leave me with more room in the 500. I think I'm picking up a breeding pair of 8-10" Umbee's Friday but the female I will pair with my big Umbee and sell the other male, not sure I want an Umbee in the 500.

I have had a pump malfunction, and heat up a tank like that.
Before adding any fish, replacing the pump would be my first action.

I decided to put the airstone under the pump, the fish seem to like it better, they like to go in front of the pump and the water movement seems to be stronger. I did the same for the puffer tank but he doesn't seem to care.
