red fin pickerel came!

Finally got my red fin pickerel I've been wanting for a good while now haha.

Ordered 2 2-4in from Sachs and they arrived perfectly safe, well insulated and hungry as all get out hahaha.

well...only 2 hiccups so far, 1 major and 1 minor.

first was they came down with a minor case of ich, which was no big deal, treated with paraguard and all was well within a week.

the second was that during treatment, the larger pickerel decided the paraguard was terrible and jumped during the night, she will be remembered.

the plus side is the replacement came and she came in bigger and healthier than the last! Everyone is doing good now!

Unique fish for sure. Eyes bigger than their stomach/mouths, and really personable once they warm up to the fact that you mean food. I can touch mine in the tank now. If they are hungry they beg too, mine know were the food drops in the tank and stare the hole in the lid down when I walk in the room near them lol.
