Can plecos move on land?

I had a little 4'' guy in my swamp somehow end up dead like, a foot away from the edge of the water on the land area.

Have no idea how he got there.

There's a turtle and a tentacled snake in the tank, so my first thought was maybe the tentacled snake tried to eat it, couldn't, came on land, and eventually gave up and let it go there. But there's a bunch of delicate plants around, and none are messed up really.

And the turtle never goes on land, and would have done an even better job of messing up the plants.

Could the pleco have done this on its own? Super weird.

jumped and dried
It must have had like a 3 foot jump to clear the height difference between the water and the shore though! and get through all the plants. It's pretty nuts.

I kind of left it there to turn into fertilizer, maybe I can get a picture that actually makes sense.
