Ok, rutilus it is. So I can expect a good 4 feet from him/her which is still big but nothing like I expected. Still a goonch and still a beast none the less.

I know how u feel. My suchus has eaten twice that ive seen since i got him. And all he has been doing lately is sit in a corner and hes breathing fast. The 2 tigs i have with him at least are fattening up on guppies.
Why is the bagarius species so stubborn on food?

No need to worry yet. They take a while to settle. My indian still hasn't eaten yet and it's been almost 2 weeks

Keep at it brotha. This species in my opinion is one of the most stubborn to get off of live. I got lucky with my first goonch off of WES that ate massivore within a week.... But the rest i have epically failed unless i received them already trained off of live. So keep at it. Dont lose hope. Keep us updated as always and we will try and help out where ever we can
