and a bunch of dead coral and salt water rock which I believe are good hosts for beneficial bacteria as well as crush coral and sand.

also, 90% water changes every 5-7 days.

I have no idea...I have been thinking about putting him in the 29 gallon. No one seems to bother him. He stays low and close to the ConJags who maybe think he is part of their family (similar colors), lol. The one fish that makes me worried for the calvus is the odoe pike, but they never really cross paths...but i would hate to wake up and find out the calvus became a 50 dollar snack for the odoe. But he does not get bothered at all by the other cichlids....i think he is too big to be seen as food and too small to be seen as a threat.
