I have kept Flowerhorns and Oscars, but this is my first GT.I picked him from the LFS 3 days
ago.He is about 5".Unlike the Flowerhorns and Oscars he is a little bit shy towards food.
If I give food pellets he wouldn't come to the water surface unless I point my finger at the

surface. So I put some Zebrafishes as ditherfish, he didn't chase them either, but I noticed a reduction
in their number slowly though. Will he become more active in the coming days?
or are the GTs always like this?

GT's become more interactive/confident with age. I've got one about this size and he is really starting to develop a personality. In no way are they as brash as the Amphilophus genus, but they certainly an interactive/fun species to keep. He's a nice looking specimen.
