Blue Acara confirmation?

Hi all!
This is my 1st post.. I am happy I finally joined the MFK community
These forums have fueled my passion for fish.. Especially cichlids!!!

So lets get to the problem...

I bought what was suppose to be a Green Terror..
But after reading about people getting confused weather there fish is really a Gold Saum or a Blue Acara..
I started to wonder weather i had a Blue Acara instead of a "Green Terror"
Im almost convinced i have a Blue Acara..

He shows bars at times.. but most of the time he doesn't have bars and shows a slight metallic shine on his body
I have read that BA's have bars and Gold Saums dont
He has the black mark on his eye
So do BA's
But he is starting to form the orange on his tail fin..
This is the only hope i have for actual having a Gold Saum.
He is still very young and when i got him he had no orange on his tail and since then it is slowly appearing..

His facial markings are washed out but he has 2 worm like lines and a few more little lines on his face

hmmm I am getting mixed opinions here...
I myself am really confused as to watch fish i have...

If it was a Gold Saum... how come it gets those bars?
most of the juvi Gold Saums i have seen on these forums dont have bars? and at the same size have more orange on the tail fin?
Maybe he/she is just a late bloomer

I thought that would be the case..
Well he is still a pritty cute little fish! so i think I am going to keep him anyway
