The devil is in the details - you didn't tell us you just got it. It obviously had a bug from its previous home - Give it a few days - and it should clear up, assuming the water quality is in fact good.

50% weekly doesn't really help much, if the tank is overstocked, but under normal conditions - it should clear up soon on its own.

I need some input asap as I am supposed to pick up these guys tomorrow. These are RTGG and will the dorsal, pectoral and ventral fins(their feelers) grow back? They were chewed up by an albino pacu.

Looks like nobody knows anything about gourami's even though this is a 404 page thread. I decided not to buy them for lack of information.

Hi Guys,

Some lovely fish on here. I think Red Tails grow much slower than greys and whites.

I'm finally back in the game after a messy divorce. Got a RTGG and planning a large plywood build to house him as he grows. Will update.

These guys seem to grow much slower than Whites and Greys. My 6 month old RTGG is about 20cm while my white at the same age was 35cm.

BLKPIRANHA - I told you very clearly that the fish you were interested in were in horrible condition - and shouldn't even be sold - and others have answered your questions - Please don't tell us you didn't get any information. Take Griller's fish, for example - NOW that is a nice fish - healthy.

Beautiful fish - interesting that they grow much slower.

My pink one is now almost 2 years old and is about 18 inches now.

You don't need to know about GG specifically to know if fins will grow back. Yes they will grow back if the base of the spines is still there the fins will grow back. Most times they grow back perfectly sometime a little deformed if the fins are constantly re-injured over and over. But my opinion on these two they will grow back perfectly if the fins are no longer being chewed on.
