Final count of total losses/mia: 13 retics, 1 delhezi, 1 lapradi, 2 teugelsi, 6 breeder bristlenose, 5 large clown loaches, L52, L66, 4 or 5 red texas, and a few smaller africans and I am sure others that I have forgotten or missed. I am down to 2 rays who are seemingly healthy; 1 little marble and that big leo/royal marble hybrid.
Here are some pics of a jar of tap water from the time of the incident which has sat long enough for the particles to settle as well as pics of necropsy results.
So did the give you a cause of death in common terms??? Like was it the water or were they sick?
Sorry for your losses man. Hope you choose to continue in the hobby. That big female might appreciate some male company. Once the dust settles I'm sure that can be arranged.
This whole ordeal sucks to say the least Tom. I'm glad that big female and the little marble held on. Wouldn't wish your ordeal on my worst enemy. I do think it is pretty darn awesome of everyone to try to offer their expertise and trying to help. That's what makes MFK an awesome community. Keep your head up bro.
The little marble ended up passing. After dealing with all this frustration I am finally ready to get back to it. As LaVar said, you people are amazing. Your wealth of knowledge and willingness to share is commendable. I thank you all! Now hopefully I can get back to it and start rebuilding my collection.
