Hey guys im trying to figure out what variant this guy is. Mainly to see what size to expect because some sources say gachua can be as big as 12" and as small as 6", so i want to try and see what this adult will be.

The current size is about 5" and was born in the summer (May/June)

What do you guys think?uploadfromtaptalk1416950094728.jpg

Nevermind it's a gaucha. Didn't see the first pic. It'll be likely be around 8 inches. An average size.

Probably year and a half. Depends on the variant as the size will also vary.

So i tracked down the initial owner/breeder of the fish. He says the parents were 8". So i guess you were on the nose with ur estimation. Thanks :)

Just keep in mind that different variants will be different sizes. The average is 8 inches but some can reach a foot.
