You guys are making me jealous. I've never dove saltwater yet, let alone the keys. I've only dived in PA, OH, and WV. Next year I'm possibly going to curacao in November but that's dependant on money at the time and work.
Ah nice! I loved Curacao! The superior producer is an awesome dive there, and there's some airplane wreck that was pretty cool. But then again, I'm extremely partial to wreck dives, they're my favorite. I've never gone diving in freshwater. I live in Kentucky so have thought about hitting up some of the rivers or quarries just to keep my dive logs current but I absolutely hate wetsuits and can't push myself into having to wear one.

Nice to see a good review about it :). Never dove fresh? You're missing out man, just need to find some nice clear spots. You hate wetsuits? I wish I had that problem, lightest I dive is a full body 7mil without a hood. Most spots I dive require a hood though. Try doing dry suit and then tell me wet is annoying :).

I just hate how constricting a wetsuit feels. Even the shorties, can't do it. I don't know if a dry suit is as restricting but I feel like not being wet would trip me out too much that I'd have to open it a little to get some water in it.

I can see that, they're annoying to be in above water on a hot summer day but worth it for the 50 degrees at the bottom of my local quarry. Dry isn't as restricting but they are HOT both above water and even until it gets about 50 underwater and they're bulky as heck. Whole reason you don't let water in them is to stay warm.

Hey Matt, out of curiosity do you dive year round since you're pretty much in the warmest part of the states?

Sorry I decided to hibernate ;)

Well I actually went diving, with a tank, not to long ago. (That's a big deal for me, I always free dive)

I had the best view of the tank full of humans lol

I used my wrist attachment... kinda hard to know where exactly your pointing hahaha

Awesome, Ash! I love it when I'm at the pittsburgh aquarium and divers are cleaning the tanks. The kids will be waving and I'll be giving signals to them to ask how much air they have left, they always have a shocked look that a teenager is giving them dive signals :).
