could do a hemichromis (elongatus,frempongi, ect) community, lovin my 5 star generals atm, birchir are african riverine too right? add a dwarf giraffe cat too!-) would be a cool tank, maybe a few tiger scats (is that the one that can stay in freshwater or is that bad info ive read?).

Bass, catfish and crappy most likely. But I will eventually have a 30g open so I may get some darters the.

Ah, the game fish then :). I see why now, not even I have a big enough tank for bass yet, for a single SMB a 180 would work and for LMB I'd go at least 300. But for crappie, either species would work in a 75G for a pretty long time if not life. Certain bullheads could also stay in a 75 for life. Just avoid cats like florida browns, channels, blues, and flatheads, they're the ones that get massive. In fact crappies might actually work with your bichirs providing they won't fit in each other's mouths, the temp range is compatible and around 74F would work for both.
