I picked up a used 37 gallon tank from my friend a while back for free. It's a cool size but I want to do a reef tank soon and it's not really that good of dimensions for one from what I'm told. So I'm thinking I might sell it and use some of the money to get something like a 30 long or a 40 breeder in its place.

Anyway I'd be selling all this in one setup, it's what my friend have me with it:
  • Used (but in good condition) 37 gallon aquarium, 30"L X 12"W X 24"H.
  • Wrought iron stand that can hold a 30" X 12" tank on the top and on the bottom.
  • Hood and working light.
  • Tan colored pea gravel.
  • Siphon.

So how much could I get for all that stuff?

Reallt, that's all? I though it'd be worth more since 37 is a rarely seen size for sale and it comes with everything. If I can only get that much I'll just keep it and use the money I have for another tank.

You could put it on craigslist for 500 bucks. Ive seen dumber stuff. End of the day it was free and its only worth what someone is willing to pay. Realistically id say you might get 50 for it

I think you could get around 70 depending on condition.

Lol, I was just looking at tanks on craigslist the other day and I don't know what the heck was going in in this guys head but he had a 6'x3'x2' SW setup with sump for sale for $1. That's not a scam or anything of course not XD.

I'll probably try to sell it for $50 or $60.

Thanks guys!

It's impossible to even answer the question since tanks go for far different prices depending on where you live..you'd have to direct the question more to people in your area
