Because I have rays and need as much filtration as possible paired with water changes. I don't have the ability to use a sump or else I would have gone with that system instead without question. So I am limited to canisters and thus have some of the biggest ones out there. Sure I could have 3 2262s but I don't have the money for 3 2262s so I am using what I was able to trade for.The question that I have is, why are you running 3 canister filters on one tank? Wouldn't it make more sense to get one large canister filter, or find a method of filtration that can deal with the whole tank with a single intake and output?
