Blood Parrot males are sterile but the female can interbreed with with any male Central American Cichlid. Older than 7 years, not fairly new.

Sure it's an hybrid of FH with some fish else... This in the picture is an FH Kamfa malau, your fish really looks like it, put in a parrotfish shape, ;)

it's a plain unfaded blood parrot. That's how they look when small. Then they row up and fade

Actually no that a Kirin Parrot. It has flowerlines and not typical black spots, also has pearling around the flowerlines and the trademark black tear.

Why did you bring up this old thread out of curiosity.
