I remember the ultimate fighter was moved to Friday nights one time

it had poor ratings, needless to say ratings went back up when they moved it back to wednesdays

I can see where it would given the mostly young adult male audience,the majority of whom probably prefers not to sit in and watch tv on a Friday night.The time of year could be a factor also.

Lol like fo real who are they targeting? Stay at home couples? Most families dont even do Friday night TV
