People definitely have success with these fish in larger tanks with other fish of similar size. Look on YouTube at "trimac community", or "jaguar community". Search for "Chadian 600", he had some in a 600 gallon with Vieja, Trimacs. He used to post here on MFK.

Damn he gets you good. I don't play those games with mine. Mine got my finger tip once and that was enough for me. And it just a quick nip. None of that psycho bite and tug yours was doing.

I rarely stick my hand in that tank, but I said I would and so I did. To be honest the 6 pack I drank did help to ease my anxiety about the situation.

Btw that fish of yours got you pretty damn good, you should post the video of him going psycho during the water change here. I am pretty sure you are well on your way to a few more bites from that one.

Yea there crazy Gentle Ben is a good name for him even though he's bad! :D

when I try sticking my whole arm in my tank with mine I use something to not let it bite me because when I look at mine it has huge teeth sticking out of the front of it's lips I would not want to get bit by it for sure!

Sorry about the pitt bull comment, I had no intention of offending anyone. I just always think of the breed as the bad ***, of the dog world. My lab mix or my dachshunds are probably just as likely to go after something as any pitt bull, but they are not as well equipped to inflict serious damage, and would probably back off if it was not going well for them.

I realize that there are many other fish out there that are more capable of inflicting damage, but mine is a little hyper. I actually think he enjoys biting me(if a fish can feel joy).

Just for Vinod I will video the removal of the flower, but I am going to get some of those elbow length rubber gloves first, since it will be bloody otherwise.

Here is a video off you tube of the passive midas in action. Obviously this is not a good situation, and there should at minimum be a divider in use here.

that is my tank, the midas were sold as the aggression was increasing, they only used to fight when they were spawning, incidentally they started spawning atm the same time then it was decision time, i chose to keep the midas rather than dovii.
