currently he only ate a small piece of fish. glad i dont have to wean him off live food
currently have not tried pellets but what kind are the best. HIKARI FOODSTICKS?

Try and get him used to tankmates asap mate its doesn't always work as you've seen with mine kicking off but its the only chance IMO to do it when young , try a few ditherers maybe a few barbs but watch they don't start nipping his fins before he decides to eat them lol
Yes hikari carni sticks are the way to go they grow like weeds once hitting these , I use prawns , muscles and whitebait on occasions as a treat but pellets as main diet , once he starts smashing the hikari you'll have to start buying these uploadfromtaptalk1408697882501.jpguploadfromtaptalk1408697898186.jpg
Saves me a small fortune buying in bulk online my LFS only sells it in 57g bags at £8 a go imagine buying those for a 2foot hungry jardini :D

he is already starting bite every tankmate in the tank so i decided to keep solo. he even try's to bite the air tube. crazy fish!
as for the pellets i have to buy them from ebay we dont get hikari pellets around here:(

Hahahaha they do grow out of the bite everything stage there a bit like puppys but instead of plastic toys they like tankmayes to chew on lol , its just a case of trying them with something a bit harder if you want the tankmates :D
As for pellet try vitamingrocer.com they do cheap hikari with free delivery over £20 on certain sized bags
