Just wanted to know if anyone knows what these are, I have 3 of them in my 10gallon right now. Got them out of my buddies pond behind his house in a trap. And opinions on the tank would be appreciated. Thanks!

the blue along the gill flap is the give away clue. even the fry I've seen have it at 3/4 of inch.

Bluegill. You'll need an absolute minimum of 75 gallons and for 3 fish it'd be more like 100 gallons. They'll get at least 12" if you care for them right and they're fed properly.

Baaaby bluegill! Sunfish are great tank fish to have in schools. They make complex social structures and designate territories right next to each other... Be wary of introducing new fish, especially ground dwellers like cats- I saw three longears beat up a slightly larger bull head. They even took bites out of the tail of the foot long shortnose gar!!
