Few month old green terror fry spawning?

Came home to my green terror fry digging a pit and displaying some spawning behaviour despite them being only just over an inch long. Anyone else had this happen?

Yeah it's surprising how early the female will lay! My gt had a go awhile ago. I don't think my male was mature tho so the eggs were sterile.
