So my female jaguar and male cuban have paired up and decided to do the deed. My question is this: can these 2 actually end up having fry? I just noticed the eggs last night and they are white but have read this is normal. I guess if they turn an amber color I will know

Unfortunately they cab cross. Do the right thing and feed the fry to an actual cichlid species.

I figure the fry wouldn't look half bad due to similarities in the 2. I don't think any will make it because they are in a community tank.

The offspring will probably look like robust Jags and max out around a Jack Dempsey's size...maybe a bit larger.
