Bought the satellite 48" set for my 55g and it was the best choice I've ever made. It's like a whole different tank. Seriously the custom light settings are amazing. Definitely a must buy.

cant believe this is still going, after having them a year and a half. beamswork if I need a tank just lit. monster ray if I got pretty bright fish. I still have 3x satellites and love them, i love to customize and play more than anything but at end of day beamswork for my monsters and monster ray for my community of bright fish

I am a huge fan of the current led+ lights, great all around light works well with light sensitive fish such as polypterus and Plecos to help get the most activity out of them but yet still being able to see them do there thing, nothing better than cheap customizable lighting that actually works.

This would suite me mike as I've got Poly's , albino plec and various cats that are out much more in the evenings under dinner lights

Thanks for the advice mopani , after what you've said and reading up on them I think I'll get a monster ray on my Malawi tank in next few months it'll make them look stunning , ATM I'm down to one t5 on that tank not much point replacing them
