Just trying to plan something new. Ive had my eye on several 300+ gallon tanks and I know i want to do some amazon catfish.

Growing a Lima in my 125, looking at TSN, Merodontotus Tigrinis, and maybe a juruense.

Would they be compatible with a group of Peacock bass of decent size?

And yes i know the cat fish will get huge eventually. But what is the timeline of them getting to a 3 foot mark from 5 inches?

Go with the pbass and juruense catfish compatible and wont outgrow a 300+ like the tsn. Tigs are usually pricey and in my opinion juruense are just as cool.

Plus, do NOT mix tigs and jurs. 99 times out of 100, they hate each other and you'll end up with just one.

Jurs are a great fish. They get great colors in their own right and are, like tifs, a fish that you can't predict how its pattern will look until its grown. You won't regret one.

I don't know for sure, TSN are not my expertise, but they looked right to me. I don't know which species for TSN it really is though, since they all look so similar as babies....
