Its not a bristlenose. they had all kinds there at the store already and you can clearly see even from a tiny size that they are bristlenoses.
from day one I assumed it was mislabelled of some kind, all I know is its bright orange and not a bristlenose so regardless of what species it is I still wanted to get it.

My guess has always been some kind of xanthic common or chocolate pleco.
Anyway I got the little guy today and snapped some in bag pics, its bright orange not just "albino"
My guess would be albino chocolate. The snout appears to match a Pterygoplichthys sp. A BN has a flatter snout.

try to get a dorsal fin count, if the rays are around 7 then it's a BN. If it's more then 10 then it's an albino chocolate. BTW, albino chocolates are fairly cheap.
