i been catching alot of gar lately so im going to post them here to keep track.

im trying to catch a 28"+ gar to get another big catch citation.
"had a monster on the shore but he flopped and snapped braided line"
now use steel leaders.
im at 16 gar right now,biggest so far looks to be 22".
that 22" one was so powerful,kinda worried to catch a 28"+ one now :nilly:

im gonna have to take a picture of a skeleton of a gar in my buddies alley the gar has 2 be about 3-4ft long he hung it up on his gate
 
Hah, i have never cought a gar before. they seem to not like being hooked. I should show you a spot next to my house, gars are hugee!

get a penn senator 16/0, 250lb power pro and an unlimited class rod and u can catch that 8 foot monster haha.

hooking them,then getting the hook out,is the hardest part.lol

Hah, i have never cought a gar before. they seem to not like being hooked. I should show you a spot next to my house, gars are hugee!

no they dont like being hooked at all.lol
ive had them shoot out of the water like tarpon :headbang2
and theres monsters in the lake i fish there just hard to hook :irked:

lol, good look getting the big ones. Biggest one me and my dad cought was a 4ft aligator gar. He hooked it, I realed it in ( i was about 10 ), cought my first fw stingray that day also :grinno:.
