im looking into breeding hybrids i currently have a female 2'' con what would be a good chiclid to mix with her

breed it with something that has bright colours. like a firemouth, jd, and someone on here said that they can breed with jewel cichlids, and even angelfish.

jewels are west african riverine cichlids, not new world, and even if a con and angelfish could genetically interbreed, physically i think it would be impossible. a con would beat the crap out of any angelfish you put with it.

Convicts do not breed with angelfish, you ever see the cross before?

They can breed with SA and CA of many types. And they can breed with the only cichlid native to the u.s.....

i have some FMxcutterixcons right now, and they are gonna appear to be interesting colored. i also have some sajicaxcuterrixcons that are also starting to color up, and they are deffinatly gonna be nice IMO. sals would be a nice addition i think to the mix :)
