That is something I always wanted to do when I had mine. Simply stunning tank and mix of fish. I love it.

How long will the tetras last?

My thoughts exactly, cardinals don't make cheap feeders. Great tank, the Black looks at home with those Discus.
 
I like the mix of fish, they all look great. The tank looks very nice too.

Ya the tertas are an experiment, I had 5 in there for 3 weeks and lost one. I then added 9 more and over the past two weeks have lost 4 more. It's weird cause the black shows no interest in them, but must be picking them off when the oppertunity is just right.
 
Amazing tank!!!! Every fish in there looks stunning, especially the black aro!!! Its colors are drop dead gorgeous!! The discus have nice colors too.
