one of my new guy's eyes where bigger then his stomache. after he decided he couldnt swallow it, he started to head shake like crazzi. then he made it worse and i guess it was stuck. (well i know it was stuck) he even took a headshakeing jump and thats when i grabbed te net. there was no way he could of swallowed it, it was stuck good.... i kept him in the water and pushed down all the spike and made a few cuts and it finially came out. took long enough... p.s. i have small hands heheheh well his mouth was stuck open for a few hours and finially closed to what you can see in the picture.. who knows how long he was like that cause i had work at 8 in the morning and came home at about 4. hasnt eatten nothgin yet but im sure he will tom. btw he has awsome irideceint colors! even in his upper fins and spikes.......
i scrapped my larger mono tank and there colors changed about 110% need to take some pictures. i think im going to do the same with these guys tank. oh and that convict wasnt ment for food... just trying to grow them out so my big guys dont eat them
