I build sculptures of various fish out of galvanized wire. So far I've made a silver arowana, clown knife, angelfish, archerfish, arapaima, Asian arowana, viperfish, black dragonfish, betta macrostomma, blue ram, and I'm working on a dwarf pike cichlid right now. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I'll post pictures of them if you want.

Okay, here are some pictures of my current sculptures. I try to make them as life sized as possible, but sometimes I have to make them a bit smaller than their fully grown size.

lol, looks great!!! try a bichir

looks cool, I really like the 3-d look of the arapaima gigas

Thanks! I'll see how well I can pull a bichir off, I was thinking of it earlier.

The gigas was the most painful sculpture I've ever done!!! More than 100' of wire, but it was worth it!

wow, they look awsome!!! i like the asian aro and the gigas the best. thanks for sharing

You're welcome! Good to here some feedback. My dad likes the silver aro the best, which is kinda funny because it was my first attempt at wire sculpture. All of the other kids in my art class started using fish for their sculptures when the saw how it looked, needless to say my teacher used it as an example for all of the classes.

I've been working on using smaller fish for my sculptures lately, mainly to vary up the size differences. Here are two more
