I still remember that night, really feeling depress. :(

My aro is 7", that night... I feed him 8pcs of jumbo superworms.
The stomach of the aro is bloted... so I stop feeding.

After 3hours, I go and do a water change as my mum complaining :swear: that the tank water is dirty (Mulky)

So I do a 80% Water Change.

After the water change, it actually stop swimming but just settle down at a corner.

It was 1.30am in the morning when my mum keep knocking on the door saying the aro is vommiting. :(

I run out of my room... looking at it... lots of super worm left over is spitted out.. and the aro is turning up-side down.. colour is fading .. body slime is coming out..

with a blink of an eyes, it show no more movement...

I stood there motionless .. and regreat that I feed too much.. and change water too much.. but its pointless now...

So I hope bros & sisters out there, don't follow my stupit foot step. :(

I have heard that superworms can sometimes be swallowed alive and then the try to chew their way out, I don't know if it is true though.

its most probably the water change that killed ur aro. Not the feeding.

Yeah... Best is not to feed right before a water change. And when after a water change, give it some time to settle then you may feed again!
BUT...NEVER CHANGE THAT MUCH WATER AGAIN!!! :swear:

Anyways... sorry to hear about your loss. :(

I sometimes feed something messy right before a water change, figuring it wont have achance to foul the tank. Guess Illl stop. Sorry about your loss.

ya best is not to feeed 6-8 hrs b4 or after water change :)
coz sudden change of temperature makes them 1 2 vomit out the food.

sorry to hear abt ur loss.
