Giving a shout out to everyone from the P.I. , especially living in Manila. I hope you are all safe. I know it's a wild place when Civil Disobedience is at it's best, I can't imagine what it must be like right now. Please be careful, glue some more broken glass to you walls and windows! and break out more razor wire!!!!

Anyone there care to describe what it's like right now????? I hope you obey the curfew, peace and blessings to you all right now. I have family there but can't get through on the phone.....Hoping for a fast and peaceful resolution.

Be safe-Mei

My Mom called me about it but we're so used to hearing things like that it became like a regular "what else is new?" converstation.

So sad but true...

:(

i'm sad to say that this sort of thing is normal over here..where politicians just want a piece of the spotlight, these are f@ckin economic saboteurs who want nothing more than to further their own ends at the expense of the whole country...bunch of cowards they dont even want to take a bullet for their supposed cause, they surrender at the first sight of trouble and make it out as if they dont want the media or civilians injured yeah right its all just drama...the leaders here are a joke, bunch of self righteous hypocrites who talk a lot but are nothing but a bunch of thieves..i hope they all die

I agree, coups happen like every couple of years so it's like not even a big deal anymore. The guy that started this coup, Trillanes, did the same thing a couple of years ago when he was in the military. They eventually let him go and then he ran for senator and actually won so go figure. Oh yeah he's not the only guy who started a coup and actually got elected to be a senator. Politics in PI is all f'ed.

By the way if you can text message, you'll probably get a reply faster than calling in PI.

I stilll remember before when Gringo Honasan was one of the most wanted men in South East Asia.

I forget but I think they made him Mayor and then a Senator.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I've been so out of it already :nilly:

I'm not sure if he was a mayor but I know he was once a senator. I don't think he got re-elected this past election. Probably didn't bribe enough people :screwy:.
