I recently put all my wifes fish in my 150 so her 55 sits full of crushed coral and lava rock with a Botia modesta, 2 glass fish and an albino pleco im growing out to put in my tank. She likes african cichlids because of their color, activity and she can mix and match. She's had oscars, convicts and catfish in the past. She's shown intrest in Clown knives, RTC, Arowanas, Rays, Salt water (not about to get into that), Discus and a few SA/CA cichlids especially the Red Devil and Red terror. You'd think she owns the zoo aquarium.
I dont have much experience with SA/CA cichlids and their aggression. She wants a few fish not a single fish. She really likes flowerhorns but knows they would have to be solo in a 55. Ive run out of ideas to suggest.
Help her out with some ideas for a nice combo of fish for her 55. (Please dont suggest tetra and rainbows, she doesnt want teeny tiny fishes)
